I have been vocal about my concern over the appointment of yet another untried coach in Harvey, but congratulations to him and the other coaching staff on last weekends game. As with our loss against Richmond, the game had the marks of coaching tactics as a major factor in how the game was played, and while we lost, the approach the coaching staff had to the game, tactics, match-ups etc was very encouraging.

Or maybe I could be consistant with what I have said in the past, which is that we would be better off with an experienced coach rather than another rookie. That rookie coaches take time (as we are seeing) and that if the club genuinely believed that our list is in premiership mode (which seems to be the thought including from what Harvey has done), then we were better placed with Connolly with Harvey as assistant, than with Harvey at the helm.
