..on PokerRoom (which I play exclusively) that many, many flops have a pair? I'm not kidding - it feels like every third or fourth flop - wondering if anyone else has noticed....or am I imagining things?

I also used to have a theory that you NEVER get an Ace on the river - I've now changed that to ALMOST NEVER. :p

My all in just got taken down by a rivered ace.

On Full Tilt, you see more flush draws and straight draws hit the river than you would normally. I play home games where almost every donk is in the pot, and two, maybe three people hit their flush or straight all night. Play online and they rape you hand after hand.

What you have to understand though, is that the speed of online play means you see a lot more hands per hour than you do at regular home games. At a casino, they are lucky to average 15-20 hands an hour. Online you average from anywhere around 50 up to around 75 hands an hour.

I used to believe that it was fishy, but thinking about the huge difference in Hands per hour makes me believe that it is just the sheer number of hands that you see.

Yeah I still forget and wonder how so many hands are getting shot down on the river, but when you are playing 3 games at once online you do see heaps of bad beats.
