I'd say it's hardly certain at all.

Given the fact Box Hill have to beat Williamstown or lose by enough to not have Bendigo, who are playing Sandringham pass you on percentage, your scenario won't really come up for discussion.

In case you were wondering, this is how I see the VFL finals shaping up:

Williamstown versus Port Melbourne (the oldest rivals in the league at it once again)
North Ballarat versus Casey (easy choice for a home final up in the snow)
Bendigo versus Collingwood (hopefully the afternoon leading into Essendon's game against the Bulldogs and could be at Windy Hill)
Box Hill versus Northern Bullants (likely opponent)

Box Hill got given a home final (on Sunday), but the joke lies within the fixturing for the Collingwood vs Bullants final, which is to be held at 2.10pm (and televised) up against the Collingwood vs Hawthorn game.

Whoever decided on Box Hill hosting finals should be shot. Ground is shit, every year around this time the cricket pitch is a bog heap, no different today, absolute joke and blight on the standard of the league the morons are rolling the ground 30 mins prior to the match commencing. Nowhere for spectators to park near the ground, only one canteen yet a specialty caravan set up to sell merchandise. Amatuer hour at its finest.
