Last night i had a strange feeling when Scotland came on....N Brown had just turned AJ inside out and had a shot on goal and they'd had a couple of other smooth forward passages of play and i was getting a little worried then Ratts quickly moved to bring him on....I've always thought he's been great, but i was starting to wonder if the young kids are going to overtake him, however, I just had this feeling of confidence when he came on. It made me realise how much we obviously rely on him. I think he is crucial in our defensive unit. He has a cool head and is very classy and i thought his presence actually gave confidence to the defenders which helped our overall play ....just wondering if anyone felt the same last night?

Scotland is a very underrated player. He moves extremely well, reads the play, and always kicks to the right option.

He is a good solider player, the type that any club needs to go forward. I always feel safe when Scotland has the ball - you know he will put it to good use. And his experience is invaluable with all our kids.

His inside out pass to Betts was a gem. Watched his eyes go right and you just knew he was going to hit the target.

As said above, Scotland is very underrated and is an important part of our best 22.

He made a great return last night considering his extremely limited preseason preparation.

Looks to have just about slot straight in as if nothing happened to him. The only query I have is his kicking depth. He's usually an extremely accurate kick over distance but when trying to go for a long kick he seemed to struggle a bit. May have just been me, but I'm sure either way this will improve once he gets his fitness up more.

Too right is he underrated. Not a gamewinner by any means and in terms of a midfield rotation the fact that we've got Scotland on a 2nd or 3rd string line is going to give any team headaches.

will be there on the last day in september in the next few years

Heath Scotland is an important part of the Carlton footy club, to the point that the opposition often have to put a defending type forward on him to try and curb his run.
As the rest of our back line has been improving, Scotland's drive and ball carrying is becoming a highlight.

He also has an awesome temperament, rarely loses his cool.
