My name is Pawel, I am 28 and lived in Australia for 5 years now. I am from Poland originally. Lived in Sydney up until June last year and moved down to Jervis Bay Area and called it home since. Even though I have been here for a while now I only discovered beauty of the game a year ago and I am hooked, best game in the world. I consider myself new to afl community therefore I picked GWS as my favorite team because they are new as well. I love Asian food and seafood too. Favorite drink is water and peppermint tea. Best radio station nova 969. Best holiday spot Jervis bay. Apples, beetroot and carrots are always in my trolley. Favorite cartoon character coyote from road runner. Best thing I have ever done was coming to Australia. I am afraid of heights. I love snorkeling, running, cycling, photography, gardening playing my Xbox. Best games GTA and Battlefield 3. Favorite tv channel fox footy (no surprise in there). I admire all footy players for their resilience, strength both mental and physical, persistence, cunning and knowledge of the game. The only thing I would love to do before I die is to learn the art of AFL, which brings me to an unusual request. Is there anybody willing to teach me and help me out with kicking and bouncing the ball while running, etc. as it is very hard, tricky and quite theoretical I think. I tried kicking and stuff recently and it did not go to well for me ended up with a very sore foot for a week. I bet it was a great show for other people to watch. You might laugh but I am not an Australian so it does not come easy to me.

Thank you very much.

Welcome mate, as a bloke who has been playing football since i was 11 (20 now) the motto i've always had is practice makes perfect, don't give up mate, go down to your local club for a train, if you're that keen, it can be nerve racking at first, but most football clubs are very warming and you'll feel included very quick (:
