Help for an internet yokel - re ADSL and streaming

I am about to get an ADSL connection and I was wondering what this will mean for the match streaming now offered on the AFL site.

Will there be any sense of continuous motion, or will it still be jerky, almost like a series of still photos as it is at the moment?

Is there any way to view games over the web (downloaded?) with anything close to video quality?

it usually all depends on how far away you are from the base station,if your about 4 or more kilometers away from it than i dont think its recommended that you get adsl.
but otherwise its a good option to watch the streaming video on the afl site,ill be getting it in a few months time
but im not an expert on this subject......yet,so maybe someone else out there can help him better
