Help me out with a decision... Kerr

I dont want to make too many knee jerk reactions...

Out: Lachlan hansen, In: Tim Boyle. I save 40k in the process for someone who will score as well if not better, and it enables me to make my second (and real) trade seeing as that one is just a bench player to earn cash. Out: Delidio, In: Kerr.

I dont have enough cash in the bank for a straight swap. Kerr should outscore lids 100 times out of 100, but it costs me two trades in round 1!

The other option is maybe a straight swap - mitchell for kerr. Save myself 100k, but mitchell is usually a solid performer. With cousins out, and juddy taking the best tagger, kerr is bound to score well most weeks.

Don't get rid of Mitchell.

He is a gun dreamteamer. Very consistent.

Take a deep breath, this is only round 1, no point carving your team up based on one virtually irrelevant score.

Wasn't aware lids went off with a corkey. Had him last year and was very good, same for marc murphy. I guess i could hold off for a week and save my trades, but kerr could be like 600k after the hike. Kicking myself right now - hansen instead of boyle. 40k i need!

score of 114 is awesome especially for his price, but the guy has been clutching at his groin all summer, coupled with his off-field problems, plus his tendency to lash out at fellow players groins etc means he is liable to miss 5-6 matches thru the course of the year.
with cousins fletch out etc would have thought he is now more of a tagging target, even more so now after round 1 performance. granted he will get more game time now rather than being an impact player off the bench.

true - he's a natural competitor so he's always gonna pump up his scores with tackles. but i left him out of my team due to said groin problems. looking for a good AND reliable team this year

Well, i cooled my jets and opted to keep my trades for the minute. Next week if there is an absolute steal to be had, i will make some trades. I will keep on keeping on with lids and murphy as usually reliable mids!

It's really 4 for a free kick isn't it? The player kicks the ball (generally) after being awarded it.

well yeah i spose but plenty of times advantage is paid or the guy had already taken the ball but got a free anyway or already disposed of the ball etc etc. would be very difficult to keep up with how many possies related to frees only for all players with any accuracy

Im stuck on Stevens for Kerr.

If i do hold out for another week which i most likely will do i have to count of ALL my players to come through unscathed.

If Kerr scores well this week hes in my team for Stevens. And Griffen is also in the firing line, he needs to perform.

Why would you swap stevens for kerr after 1 game, mate one of my mids that i wont be changing only averaged 85, thats with jubb,ball,hasleby,pendlebury,sewell and cooney, just hold up on trades like that, its only rd1. My other team i pulled the trigger on kerr for deledio only to find out deledio was off with a corky , bad mistake, but im trading that team heavy in the first 3rds as its part of my strategy.. If you trade now and its not part of your strategy you will but in serious trouble later in the year.
