So I've got $2000 I want to spend on a gaming rig, but I have no idea what sort of stuff I'm looking for. Monitor and keyboard included in budget. Main uses: Online Gaming, Graphic Design/Photoshop, and Video Editing. Any suggestions?

ATI 4870 instead of GT280 would probably be a good start. 4gb matched RAM. 3.16GHz core 2 duo. 22" screen. if you are going to be video editing then a harddrive with 32meg cache would be worthwhile... or even two in RAID0 come to think of it. don't skimp on the motherboard or power supply and you'll be sweet. cbf to get full specs but try umart.

you can build an awesome gaming rig for $1500 max. like nvidia 9800 gtx (550$) + quad core + 4 gb ram with 8 gb possible(400$ if you shop around) + 500gb hd(150$) + cd/rw(about 300$) + motherboard (usually cheap) + sound card (100$)

pretty easy if you know what your doing. will last you 4 years solid.
