Hi everyone! I'm Keith, I'm from the UK, and I'm new to both these boards and the sport in general.

I work in a shop here, and someone came in wearing a Sydney Swans top, which sparked up a conversation about the AFL. I came home and watched a couple of games on YouTube, and even though I had no clue what was going on, I was hooked!

With no real connections to Australia, I decided to pick a team at random (literally by closing my eyes and picking a team from the list on the main AFL site) and ended up with West Coast. With the new branding and stadium for this year, it looks as though I'm coming in at the start of a new era for the club, which is exciting.

Looking forward to learning more about the sport this year, and chatting with many of you.

Hi Keithy! You've made a fairly safe pick with the Weagles & if you've done some homework, you'll know they have been a consistently dangerous side since their entry to the AFL. Lot's of Poms in Perth/Western Australia as well so if you ever make the trip to watch them live, no doubt their will be a few expats their to share a pint with.

Also well done in not having the misfortune of having picked Carlton or Collingwood
