With the speculation going on over Fevola (and I haven't heard one way or the other as I type) being available im curious as to how far away your big Setena (apologise for the spelling) might be to getting a game?

Reckon it'd be great to see him line up as I'm a bit of a wrap for the 'Irish experiement'. Anything that gets the game good publicity is fine by me and I reckon that taking a punt like your lot have (and the Demons and Swans too) deserve a bit of luck with the faith getting paid off by having a good player emerge out of it.

Anyway, good luck (but not to good) for Friday and we'll see how things work out on the night.

Cheers.

He's still on the rookie list so he'll be a while off lining up for the blues bar a major injury!

Still, he kicked 4 for the Bullants the other day! Looking forward to seeing him in the Navy Blue.

Funny you should mention it Grendel. Reports on TBV say that SEN have announced tonight that Brad Fisher has not come up as well as expected and has not been placed on the long term injury list. You know what that means? I reckon if Fev is out, Setanta will be lining up in our forward line this Friday night. :D

Bummer about Fish though.

Thought he'd be elevated onto the senior list at the end of last year, apologise for the mistake on my part.

Yea, just heard the Fev news (no penalty yet) so I suppose it's looking likely then. Any others that would come in before Setena (is that how it's spelt btw)?

Cheers.

I heard that as well ODN, apparently last week he was training and looked like having a hit out, but now I've heard he won't be back for at least another 6-7

Is that not or now? I assume now.

I thought Fish was making a really good recovery, if this is true I think we have rushed him back on the track way to soon considering he was meant to miss the majority of the season? If it has happened, I hope big Setanta can benefit from it!

Freudian slip perhaps. Yes it is now. It was not on SEN though, it was in the injury update. Problem was it referred to Livo going to have surgery two weeks ago but in a future tense. Maybe it is a typo?

Some want to see Jesse Smith, some want to see Nick Becker, some are saying that Pleming is ready. However, Setanta kicked 4 goals on the weekend and would provide plenty of crumbs for Betts who bagged a lazy 6. Some say that Setanta still makes a lot of mistakes but if you shove him at full forward, they won't hurt as much. Like to crash bodies while leading out, could make things happen out there and free up Whitnall for his own goal scoring exploits.

Tony Elshaugh just said on Morning Glory on SEN that Fish is coming along beautifully and the way he is training could play now but they will wait until i think he said May 20th for his return. He also said Livo is coming along well and should be back in 2 weeks.

well if Fisher isnt on the LTI list what about Hartlett, i think i read somewhere he is still out for at least 6 more weeks, i mean he isnt expected to play seniors this year anyway so a longer recovery time would be good for him.

i just want setanta in the ones!
