The match day report laid against Essendon’s David Hille for making contact from front-on against Carlton’s Richard Hadley from Saturday’s match was assessed. The panel said that Hille went in low to the contest. At the very last moment, Hadley turned into the on-coming Hille and contact was made to the Carlton player’s shoulder. Hille’s contact to the Carlton player, which was not to the head, was caused by circumstances outside of his control, due to the late move by Hadley. No further action was taken.

david hille is one of the dirtiest players in the AFL, pre season against collingwood he puts his hip into a collingwood players head and theres no report, every game i see him play theres something he should be reported for so hopefully he gets at least a few weeks and people start to realise what an animal he is
