Straight up with his appeal process I don't fully get what it is he is asking for. My understanding is that middleton said if he sided with essendon he still wouldnt have stoppes the SCN. Can someone explain what it is he is looking to do because personally I cant be ****ed to read through 90% everyone should be sacked in an article to get to the 10% truth

He feels completely wronged by the investigation and wants that feeling legitimised in the eye of the law.

That will give him the impetus he wants to attack ASADA and the AFL for defamation - as he can say they acted illegally.


It's got nothing to do with ths SCNs, the players or the club, and to claim so is ridiculous.

Don't know about that... but to claim that it definitely has nothing to do with the players or the club is most certainly patently ridiculous. Even by your own rationale, if he succeeds it will have obvious impact on the SCN's.

I'm in dark as well, but here is my opinion. As things stand there is a risk that the SC evidence will stand up in court. If Hirds appeal is successful, it will substantially damage ASADA and by proxy their case against the club.

It's directly relevant to the SCNs
 
The bit I don't get is if Hird and the club were separate, in the court action, and Hird doesn't have a SCN, then Hird's action was what - just moral support? And if so, why then is he appealing?

To be completely honest I am drunk and wearing a capt Morgans hat as I post this. What I have gathered from about 1-3 posts is the hird is potentially in it for hird. Is that correct?
