Just looking at our list of BnF winners, it's so hard to win multiple times.

With Doc out for the year you'd have to say there's a big chance either Murphy or Cripps win this year.

If Murphy wins it'll be a quite amazing third BnF for him whereas if Cripps wins it'll be arguably even more amazing as it'll mark two BnFs is such a young career.

What other amazing statistical triumphs potentially beckon our players this year?

Obviously Simmo is a chance to reach 300. That would be a great achievement and fully deserved for a man who has shown true love for the jumper and leadership esp in recent times. You can see on his face how much it means to play for the Blues.

Jones will get the most one %s in the comp this year, possibly ever (note I have no idea what the actual record is, but pretty sure Jones will break it).
It's a hard one to follow as 1%ers seem to be only accessible to the folk with full Champion Data access. My gut says it may be hard for a key position player as opposed to a midfield type simply due to amount of time spent around the ball.

I seem to remember about mid last year commentators saying Jack Steele was leading the comp in that area by a bit of a margin. He's one of the more prolific tacklers going around so it makes sense to me that those type of players would have much greater opportunities than a KPD.

I reckon Kennedy may be our guy to go for similar stuff. After a quick search I couldn't find any 1%ers records but Tony Liberatore holds the record for most blocks with 49 in 2000. After watching his work in the Saints game I think he could give that one a red hot go.

The spoils record is the one I reckon Jones can get. Josh Gibson holds the record for most spoils in a season with 191 in 2011. Jones would need to hold an average of 8.7 or higher across 22 games to beat that. Against St Kilda he had 14.

There's a few familiar faces in here:

I'll tell you what if Marchbank can play the year like he did last week he could be a young BnF winner. He was BOG last week by the length of the Flemington straight.

One %ers is the exclusive domain of the key back, the spoils alone see them streets ahead of other type of players. Jones averaged 11 one %ers per game last season, the best in the league behind only Port's four-gamer Dougal Howard on 12.3 (Rance third on 9.7 per game).

The lessons from this statistical analysis: Jones is the true GOAT but a new contender in Dougal Howard may have emerged.

In hindsight I must have misheard and they were talking about pressure acts with Steele...

Will certainly be interesting to see the Jones-Howard-Rance race for the most 1%ers goes.

While Cripps and Murphy should be the front runners, I think whoever steps up in defence this year in Doc's absence will be looked at favourably by the coaches.

All of Jones, Marchbank and Plowman a decent chance.

IMO I have Plowman as a smoky - he is unsurprisingly already in the leadership group and expect he will step up and control the backline this year. Won't have any BOGs but will be consistent and do the stuff coaches will take note of.

Kreuzer also a decent chance.

Edit: Just realised this thread is not about who will win our BnF. Oh well, you get my opinion regardless.

No doubt, although this will be his first full preseason, strongly recommend to get on him while the odds are juicy
Already put 20 on him at quarter time last week, if we can hit 9 wins he'll make it very interesting

Jones the beast will win the B&F and his rise from the dead will be complete.

The rising star is a joke even when a young Carlton player is setting the world on fire they still give it to someone else just a disgrace.

A wild prediction but CC will kick 60 goals, run through the centre and dominate and we wont know where to play him.

I'll take the odds against that
Charlie attracts the best defender now, no more double teaming Casboult either.

Gives him every chance
