You don't need it. I had a code for that potion but didn't realise until after I finished the game and got platinum.

The hardest part of chasing the platinum has been getting enough cash to buy the stuff from vendors…

Ironically after stopping the poachers, it’s actually the easiest way to make money haha.

I was looking forward to this, got sorted into Slytherin first try, which is the house I wanted and then haven't touched the game again.

I wasn't disappointed with it, it just didn't really draw me in.

I'm going to try it again but I have no great confidence that I will finish it.

I was similar. Did the start end of Feb. Barely touched it, then managed to get hooked this month and I'm around 55 hours atm
 
I'm up LVL 24.. but haven't touched in weeks... Did turn it on last night... But then logged straight out... Haven't touched PC much lately... Everything seems to much effort.
 
Wrapped up all the trophies apart from the house specific ones which I’ll do later in between other things.

Overall I really enjoyed this, Hogwarts and Hogsmeade I particular are wonderfully crafted. Combat was fine one you can have more than one spell set.

The main gripe I had was really just UI related, the menus are kinda slow and the cursor doesn’t help.

Inventory management wasn’t great either considering loot is a big part of the game, for example you can’t sell items in bulk (not that I saw anyway).

If you liked Harry Potter as a kid it’s definitely worth a look, 12 year old me would’ve lived in this game!

I finished it tonight, so brief thoughts:

-Combat very fun
-Sebastian Sallow story arc was pretty cool, almost felt like it could have been the main story
-The Music is epic in the whole game, especially the last quest
-Would have liked to have the supporting teachers and more students appear a little more to be fleshed out, same with Ranrok after you finally defeat him (a final cut scene with him would have been ideal)
-Game could probably use quite a few more quests, both side and main story, felt a little short for a big RPGish
-Choices don't seem to matter, felt they could have done more here
-You do end up caring a bit for the immediate characters around you
-The boss fights are satisfying, a bit on the easy side though, didn't die once on normal and Ranrok barely hit me.

Excellent game, I can see why it got mostly 8's and 9's. Would be interesting to see what they can do with with either DLC or a sequel, or something different like a Lord of the rings open world game.

Been playing this for the last few days, such a good game. Not sure what how the story ends as I am not there yet but I hope there is another game. I have the motivation to watch the Harry Potter films now.
