'Lots of tears, lots of hugs': Holden brand axed
About 600 Holden employees will lose their jobs after parent company General Motors announced it would axe the iconic Australian car brand by the end of the year.

Amazing. Founded in 1856 as J A Holden & Co, this iconic brand survived world wars, depressions, financial crisis' and the release of the Camira.
It just takes a few years of association with Collingwood Football Club to completely destroy this long running, proud brand.
No word on whether the creditors will turn up to Collingwood's HQ on motorbikes to collect any outstanding debts.
