Just wondering if anyone knows if their is a home loan out there where you can hold off repayments until you have used the entire amount of the loan?
Currently I am renting, and looking at building (house&land) therefore it would be too much to pay rent and a mortgage at teh same time.
Any info would be great!

what we did was pay interest only payments until we moved into our house. I think you can hold off making payments until you move in but then you pay stamp duty on both House and land. Whereas we only payed it for the land. Not sure if I am accurate or not with the stamp duty.

There are many loans that will do this. As you draw down you pay prgressively. Any good broker can help put this together. Use one that has independance and ask what commissions they recieve.

Even though you are a Carlton supporter, PM me and I will give you the details of my broker - he asved me a whole heap of interest and also structrued in some great facilities.

Have fun.
