I'm afraid it's a well worn story for our big key forwards. It happened to Plugger and it happened to Hall. It's almost like the umps think that the player is big enough to look after themself and that the defender should be able to engage in a higher level of body contact to even things up a bit. It's also a reason why Plugger and Hall could give away a free kick by simply breathing a little heavy on the opposition - the umps feel a little sorry for the poor defenders.

I know, I don't like to attack umpires (I've been a ref in Basketball before and currently a taekwondo ref), but they were very poor.

I thought in general after HT you guys looked to be playing better across the ground with short kicks and handballs in the middle but you just couldn't score up forward, 10 goals in the past month is not going to win you a lot of games.

Daniher needs help as he is probably 3 years away from coming good i feel you guys need to make a ballsy trade at the end of the year try and grab one of GWS talls.

We were solid after QT, but you guys were awesome. Could do no wrong. When Parker kicked that checkside goal I thought it may have been one of those days. When Derickx kicked his goal I knew it would be

Is this going to be the new catch cry of opposition (and some Swans) supporters?
I am not a fan of D-Rex insofar as he has a tendency of making things look much harder than they are.
But one cannot fault his endeavour and the signficant contribution he has made to our success the last 5 weeks.
You can see his confidence growing and hopefully he will start clunking some marks and really making a name for himself.

I agree, but he was much worse than 'not very good' before, but he keeps improving little by little... by years end he might NOT* be the worst premiership player ever.

With the disgust of us recruiting the 2 juggernauts, the umps are going to make it hard for them to get free kicks , sub consciously evening up the game. I don't think hooker used overly dirty tactics, but on more than one occasion he had Tippett wrapped up before the ball was even close.

Taylor is the best backman in the league by a fair way, but I think they may use him as a floater this week. Let rivers lock up Tippett and Taylor impact as many buddy and Tippett contests as possible.

If that's your opinion then fine, but many of us are obviously not going to see it that way unless you can back up your opinion with examples from the game.

Everyone else, just chill, we won. Tippett was mauled at times but it happens every week and last night won't be the last time it happens sadly.
