Been out a few weeks but I just finished it. Wow this game is an interesting one. Top-down beat-em-up/shoot-em-up ultra-violent and incredibly unforgiving with a retro aesthetic and 80's style soundtrack. I had heaps of fun just blowing off steam on this game, it's so fast paced and brutal which just makes it more compelling. The story is insane as well, still not sure what to make of it. Anyone else picked it up?

The gameplay will tell you more than I can.

I watched the GiantBomb Quick Look of this just the other day (Quick Look below), and I must say it looks fantastic. I'll wait until Steam sales hit and hopefully it gets a discount, by then some of the quirks and issues will have hopefully been ironed out as well.

The ridiculous speed and tactical options available make me want it even more.

That's the best thing about GiantBomb. They don't limit their Quick Looks, when they feel they have shown enough and done the game justice, they finish it.

They don't do written previews either so it helps to get all of that across as well.

The last couple of months has seen them do about 5 Quick Looks that push more than an hour. Hell, their MOH 2 Quick Look was 1 hour, 42 minutes.

I bought this primarily for the soundtrack that exists in the game directory. It's fun though, and has a great sense of style. Everything just fits and you can really tell they had a strong aesthetic vision for this game.

Just finished it last night. Crazy game. The story/gameplay/visual style/soundtrack are the best I've played/seen/heard all year.

Def one of my favorite games of 2012 thus far...
