Computers & Internet Hotmail problems?

I'm having some troubles with Hotmail at the moment. It's been fine until today, where I logged on at about 5pm this evening, and the most recent emails in my Inbox were from June. I tried logging out and refreshing and whatnot, but no luck. I've since logged on hours later at a different computer, but it's the same deal. But in my junk mail folder, it showed a series of emails which failed to send (postmaster delivery or something), which shows some spam mail my account's been dishing out (something about iphones or laptops or whatever).

Any ideas on whether these emails are redeemable/will come back/what's happened? Is it best to simply start up a new account? Thanks.

Yeah I had this problem occur quite a while ago with my account, it stopped receiving emails around March. I just gave up and starting using another account which works fine, weird though.
