Seriously.

The Knights negotiation is over. I've already moved on.

Should we be going for an A Grade player or should we be going for some new youth players inside the 1st and 2nd rounds? Surely it comes back to the quality of the draft... for my money there are some dead set GUNS killing it in the SANFL who are only 17-18 years old.

I think we are developing our players really well. I see Gunston, Shaw, Talia as real players longer term.

Our game plan is a winner. We lose a soldier and we replace him with another rookie or 3rd/4th round pick who does the same job... Schmidt, Young, Jaensch, Henderson, Sloane, Martin, Walker... where did they come from? None of these guys are high picks... NONE of them... yet they all look players.

It will be a very interesting end of season review IMO.. and a very interesting trade period to boot.

I think we will attempt to target an A grader or two during draft week, put some strong offers out, but wont sell our souls. If this happens then I will be happy enough to go either way.

Complete agreeance that there are some draft gems and I'd back rendell to find them.

Bryce Gibbs would be a good option even though his had a poorish year but he can kick well and is out of contract I think. We need some fast players in draft we lack some pace. Now that McLoed is gone a quick backman would be good. We don't need any talls this year we need midfield small backs and forward stocks.

We could look to trade off J.Sellar for late pick, Knights and Griffen will go just what we get for them is the question. S.Stevens and B.Reilly could be trade bait too while they are worth something.
