I know this has probably been discussed to death but "since i haven't been here!!" it seems no one likes this kid?? whats wrong with him, i admit he has gone a bit quite as of late but he definatly has what it take in my opinion!!! just needs to put on a bit of weight!!!

Too Much of a receiver and too one-sided.


When I see him go in and get his own ball and even attempts to kick with his opposite foot I'll start to get on his side again.

Seems to only be able to get it by sneaking off to the wings.

Does have good disposal though...although many do when not under any pressure. Not sure on his defensive side either....so due to how he seems to get his possies, means his opponent is getting it alot and being just as, if not more damaging, the other way.

Some have an issue with his total lack of right foot...but when have you seen Lucas or many lefties kick with the right! So nothing unusual about that. Seems a bit soft, but with a bit more size and experience, might show a bit more.

Edit:　see Phoenix has already brought up the 'one sided' concern, but as I said, lets make a list of very good AFL players that only have a left. But I came back to edit to counter myself and say, he actually isn't young is he, so isn't probably going to put on much more than what he has now unless he gets serious with the protein packs and a good trainer that wields the whip!

He has been quite good over the last 12 months. What more could you ask? He is no more one sided than 80% of players. There have been no signs of him turning it over because he is one sided. Why would you call him one sided when most players try to use to best side almost every time. I don't think I have ever seen james Hird or Dustin Fletcher kick on their left foot in their whole career.

Fletcher might not be capable but alot of defenders arent required to anywhere near as much as midfielders.

Hird is capable.
