Hulk Hogan Clarifies His TNA Status
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 10.11.2013

Where's he at with the company?

- Hulk Hogan recently spoke with Dan Gelston of the AP about a recent coversation with Triple H, his TNA status and more. Check out the highlights:

On running into Triple H at a recent charity event: "He just welcomed me with open arms. He said if ever I decide I get the itch to come back home, the door's open."

On the possibility of appearing at WrestleMania 30: "My mind has been going crazy the last couple of weeks trying to figure out the best thing to do will be."

On where he's at with TNA: "We couldn't figure things out. We're talking, but I'm wide open right now."

On whether he has another match in him: "Let me put it to you this way, brother. With the right guy, the right situation, with a big enough event, big enough storyline, you're damn right I have one more left in me."

I reckon he'll return to WWE. He'll still draws, he would get a big reaction if he returns! Personally I don't really care since I can't see him offering anything new. It's going to be the same "Well you know something brother" "Dude" "Man" "Hulkamaniacs" blah blah blah! At least with guys like The Rock returning they can offer something new. I'll literally stop watching WWE if he has another match in WWE

I bet he's wide open. Certainly was in a certain tape.

His well past his prime, and his character is just boring now. I don't see how you can say he still draws crowds, certainly didn't do TNA any favours - every time I watched, as well as being on Twitter I could hardly see him being mentioned, and I follow a lot of wrestling in general fans.

He can't put on a decent match anymore, not nearly as good as he once maybe could. Even if he did return, WWE would have to have some amazing story and utilize all the hidden promotion they can. Either way, he would draw ratings for maybe like 3 weeks, then it would start to go down again. I just find him boring.

I feel WWE (if they did bring him in for ratings), they shouldn't be wasting their time on washed up superstars, and instead focus their energy on getting a younger guy over the line and who is going to be the next John Cena, because let's face it, he's not going to be there.

Or simply just get rid of this PG crap and return to the old school stuff that drew mega ratings.

Why don't they have him involved with the Real Americans in some capacity at WM30?

So, just like what happened at WM21, then?

And yeah, Hogan burying some young guys with talent. That's what we all want to see.

I think Hogan's future would best lie outside of wrestling and as far away from my eyes as possible. He was washed up and annoying a long time ago, and he has more than overstayed his welcome. I hope we don't have to deal with Cena for another 20-30 years.

I did say IN SOME CAPACITY didn't specifically mention him to wrestle as much as some people don't like him, there are a lot who still do even it's only for nostalgia just a fact. I don't want to see him every week but a one off appearance at WM30 would good if they can come up with something good!

Sure would be a dream match. I'd fall asleep watching it. I combined 10 moves in total with a thousand rest holds for Hogan. What a rip snorta of a match.

Hogan still would draw, anyone who says he wouldn't is lying to themselves. But we're talking one of fantasy matches and thats it!
Give a surprise return at the Royal Rumble and one massive match to put someone over who deserves it and let him retire with some pride at Wrestlemania 30.
Though, Cena v Hogan I couldnt see working and if it did go ahead it would have to be with some kind of twist.

I don't think that's how Hogan operates

He's re-signing with TNA. WWE offered him less money than TNA and he decided to stay with them. What a ****wit!! Thank **** this old bastard didn't sign with WWE. retire already!!

Just to add is the reason why I respect wrestlers like Austin is because he knew that he couldn't perform at his peak due to his age and his neck injury so he retired from wrestling. Unlike ****heads like Flair and Hogan who don't know when to stop. People pay good money to watch good wrestling something that Hogan couldn't offer in his prime let alone now!! **** off Hogan.

In his prime, people didn't pay good money to see Hogan? Hmmmm.....

I didn't say that people didn't pay good money for Hogan in his prime, What I said is that if they paid good money to watch him in a good wrestling match then they would have been bitterly disappointed.

He had plenty of good matches back then , think it didn't always involves great wrestling techniques. The huge person was pretty much the go then. Majority of people knew what he was about and how he peformed and still paid money to see the likes of him, Andre Orndoff , Bundy , Studd< piper etc

If Hogan ever had good matches it's because of who he worked with! Savage Flair etc...
Hogan cut good promos, he had good charisma but his in ring skills were horrible.

to be fair, he gave the people what they wanted to see. they didn't watch a Hogan match to see him put on a wrestling clinic ala Daniel Bryan.
