Been listening to a bit of this band lately eg 30 days in a Hole, Hot 'n Nasty, Sad Bag of Shakey Jake and found them to be quite interesting, Steven Marriott sure has an amazing voice. Are there any people out there who could recommend some good song or albums.

Great full on boogie rock band. Marriott sure was one of the great vocalists and a pretty handy guitarist as well. Had another fair one in Peter Frampton before he whimped out and left. Greg Ridley completed a trio of vocalists.

The first album "As Safe As Yesterday Is" is killer. The live "Performance - Rockin' The Filllmore" is essential as well.

Thanks, is the album Smokin' good as I have been reading reviews with many saying it to be the bands best.

Clemson replaced Frampton on Smokin' which sees the Pie move into an even heavier direction. Not a bad album, but a little too much boogie excess. Personally, i prefer the two albums i mentioned. I would avoid any album released after Smokin'.

I went through their first 6 albums the last few days.

They have some good stuff!

My favourite album would be the self titled, it has a very nostalgic sound.
