Hummm question

Does anyone think the location (ie. the "from" part of your avatar thingy) "Idiot Nation" is offensive?
Another (aussie) board I post at asked me to change this to something less offensive to its members. I did change it, but I am really wondering what about it is so offensive seeing as there was nothing in the terms and conditions that it violated...?

(the mod who asked me to change it recently wrote a post along the lines of "maybe it would be easier if we stopped taking refugees into Aust full stop" so maybe there's my answer )

Please also let me know if it is inappropriate to bitch about other boards here. I'm just trying to seek an alternative opinion from a board who has a more diverse mixture of views on issues.
