The official release is tomorrow. I have pre-ordered for switch. It looks to be the GOAT arcade style run-and-gun retro classic.

Love it! The ultimate 80s nostalgia trip. Full of humorous references to 80s action flicks with stallone, arnie, bruce willis etc and 80s wrestlers like macho man randy savage.

This shit is so epic. The whole game is basically a homage to action movies of the 80s and 90s. Full of guns, enemies, one liners and scenery pulled from films like die hard, predator, terminator, rambo, blade runner, commando, judge dredd, demolition man, lethal weapon, apocalypse now, and so on.

It's one big action movie spoof and it's pretty funny sometimes. It's a legitimately good and challenging game, but the humour is what takes it to another level.
Example: one of the bosses you fight is a vietnam war vet with some obvious PTSD, and his weakness that you have to exploit is that he has flashbacks where he keeps saying "The horrors! The horrors! The horrors!" (a throwback to a line from Apocalypse Now) which gives you a chance to shoot him.
