Its hardly a shock but I notice in an article in the HUN that TAC have decided not to discontinue their sponorship of Geelong after young Bradley blew the freckle outta the booze bag. I am not shocked at all but just annoyed that Jay Schulz had to go through such public castigation for half the offence. Oh I forgot, the article did point out that Brad was sorry.

It seems the TAC does not take Drink Driving seriously unless you support for Richmond. They should change their slogan to.

"Drink Drive, Support Richmond, Bloody Idiot."

I wonder if the cops have been told to ask what team you support when carrying out a random breath test.

Isnt this geelongs first case? Where as richmond has had at least two... i think... i think you should be using Collingwood as more of an example. The clokes and morrison for both drinking and speeding... yet they still have their sponsorship... all because buckley and eddie mcusedtobeeverywhere are in ads and put their name to the campaign

Personally I think the TAC sponsoring football clubs put them in an awkward position. People make mistakes. Men aged between 18-30 will make stupid mistakes regarding alcohol and driving. Doesn't make it right...but it's going to happen regardless.
Personally, I'm glad we are no longer sponsored by the TAC.

well it seemed to be a deciding factor at Richmond.. took at least two strikes before it was revoked...

But i agree the TAC shouldnt be involved at all, sponsor the league maybe but not individual clubs!
