Hypothetical Question re: 12/9/08

Soccer just doesn't do it for me. Sure I watched the World Cup, sure I jumped around for a bit when Alosi kicked 'that' goal.

But soccer is generally boring. I honestly think its only popular around the world because it has no other half decent/easy to play game to compete with in most countries.

Just my two cents.

Tim Cahill's goals against Japan in the actual World Cup were better! Can't believe they are not replayed more. The goals that earned us our only ever win in the World Cup should be a part of Australian sporting folklore.

It is disturbing to me that the goal that qualified us to the tournament has become that.

Both sports are good. Both well ahead of any other alternatives in my opinion anyway! I have always been an Aussie Rules man but I must say since Adelaide United's arrival I prefer soccer.

Booooooooooo!!!!

Try telling Hull supporters last nite's amazing first up win against Fulham wasn't exciting!!!!

Back on subject of thread it looks like a top 6 spot is all but assured with Collingwood and Sydney playing each other next week and Geelong playing the Kangaroos next week. We now look the favourites to finish top 4 ... even if the Kangas do beat Carlton today!

Hey guys,

don't want to throw a spanner in the works but if we are a good chance to finish 4th, then i reckon there is a very good chance we wont be playing semi-finals in Melbourne:eek:
Damn us being too good.

Something that you never want to count on, but when it happens you are stoked about it.

Found out i have junior finals on the Sunday - and the financial situation isnt that great...

Gonna be some big decisions coming up - and some major savings.

So if we beat Collingwood, we'll defo be playing Sat night in Melb?

I've already got a $30 ticket booked a few weeks ago, coming back @ 10am Sat morning.
Do I change it now to Sunday @ $130?
If I wait until after this Sat will the prices be higher?
Decisions, decisions :S

Well given that the Hawks - Bullies game is played on the friday night that the loser of that game would also play on that night.

Im going to organise accom now, drive over if it all goes ahead. if not cancel the accom at no charge...
