Were Jack Watts to have an above average game on the weekend, how close does he go to a spot in the side for the week after?

He's young, raw, skinny, not fully through his special programme, but would they be able to withstand the weight of the supporter drive to get him in the side?

Mate - I can assure you we are not going to rush a number 1 draft pick just for the sake of a game or two.

He is a genuine chance to play in 4-5-6 weeks but he will not be rushed.

This bloke is not going to be a factor next week, or the week after, or the one after that. He will be a factor next year, 2011 and 2012 and beyond - hopefully when we are back in finals contention.

Personally I would love to see a Queens Birthday debut.

And he destorys the pies with a 7 goal debut! That would be the happiest day of my life!!

Would be awesome to see him debut on QB, all i want is 4 grabs and 4 goals and I'll be stoked!

Is he not going to be playing Casey 2's? Then after a week or two wont he be playing for Brighton. I don't see how he is going to be promoted into the side on the back of VFL seconds and school footy.

I think in the June/July school holidays he will get a few games of VFL in a row and if he plays well in the seniors then he must be a chance. But by then we will at or past round 15, so I won't be holding my breath.
