It worked because they became no.1 in each area. Ruck = Witts, Around the ground = Ground and Forward = Cox. Add Moore in and boom.

Well I guess this is the one. I was very surprised too and I would have to say if he manages games like that White and one of Witts and Grundy are finished.

Have to give props to Gault too who is very efficient with his opportunities.

Doesnt make your "logic" any more logical.

Cloke is easily best 22 and easily our best key forward. Would you seriously select Gault or Cox (for example) ahead of him? Or even Moore at this stage of his career?

The form of our young talls is promising. It adds extra pressure to Witts/Grundy because Cox/Moore/Gault are all ruck options. It writes a death note for White. And it gives Cloke some confidence that finally hes no longer the only forward target.
