We were $4.80 underdogs going into that game. I know it was wet, but our dees showed outstanding relience to come from 2-3 kicks down twice. It seems we have turned a corner there. We no longer drop our heads and throw the towel in. Let's not forget we were playing a supposed top 4 side.
I thought our intensity and tackling was fantastic. Our fitness would challenge that of any club in the afl IMO. I think our guys know that if we can be within a few goals at three qtr time, we have the fitness to run over any team.
Our guys will learn from this and be better for these collingwood and footscray type games.
Remember most of us were saying 6-8 wins this year would be a successful year. Just cos we got 3 in a row early doesn't change that.
Totally gutted that we lost but the silver lining prevails I think
