No one seems to know. Did not play for Dockers or Peel but not listed as injured. Very curious.

He was omitted and held over as the emergency. Yes, I thought an undeserved omission as well but it happens.

He doesn't suit the new game plan in the role that he was playing.

Needs to be used purely as a stopper and we can only play a maximum of 4 of these types and unfortunately for him Spurr and Sutty are ahead of him and we need Dawson and Pearce to take the talls.

Other than that I really can't see another role for him. He stank as a midfielder years ago and it's doubtful he would work as a forward. Maybe as a defensive forward?

Barlow and Mayne were less impressive. Omitting Ibbo is fine but it doesn't send a good message when others are seemingly being gifted games.

I remember when Ibbo was the best player in the comp in the role he was playing. Unfortunately ever since he injured his (Shoulder?) that year he has never been the same.

I think he is the type of player that could garner us a 2nd round draft pick plus we have Ethan Hughes who IMO could play the the Ibbo role for the next 8 years.

Probably not the only reason he was dropped, but against North he just ran over the ball and fell over for no reason quite a few times.

I think its this and he didn't take obvious FIRST options after marking..

which means he pauses and isn't carrying out the new game plan to hit the running open player, not the usual kick in hope on the tops of players heads to a gaggle of players after everybody gets back. This has been the last 2 games he has played.
