Get trillian (www.trillian.cc) - in one program you can talk to anyone on MSN/ICQ/AIM or even Yahoo, with no difference at your end.

Great program.
If you try trillian, it will wreck your msn account as well as everything else that you have. That's coming from experience. It is a shocker.

Similar with me on msn messenger. I hardly go on it now, and i don't think anyone else does.

Well I missed you too bigfella, hugs?

Moved to sydney, so flat out starting up a company here, and that sort of trifiling life rubbish, that wastes my time and in between posting on bigthugby.com, as it seemed appropriate.

On the subject of MIA, wheres Jars?

{edit: where the hell did my abuse of showbags go, i was working nicely, passing a slow Friday afternoon, before beer o'clock!}

Salient point.

And you didnt think I could let the upcomping Rabble cup rematch go untouched did you?

I want the trophy back, damnit.

I still hang onto ICQ for sentimental reasons *sniff* but I usually stay on invisible and then if I want to speak to anyone that pops on I make myself visible :)

I actually still use mIRC after four years! once again, sentimental reasons but the only channel I use ironically is dedicated to afl :D no more of that a/s/l rubbish!

Yep

There is nothing worse than logging in and having all these popups, saying, so and so has added you to their MSN list, would you like to add them, or block the? And having no idea who they are or how they got your address!!

My computer can't handle having both ICQ and MSN going at the same time - to attempt it makes the thing crash. So a choice had to be made, and MSN it is - majority rules, and that's what more people I know online prefer to use.

I still keep icq open just incase anyone of interest is on there (Hi Brampta :D)

I don't tend to use msn that much anymore either. I tend to use yahoo messenger more now.

Nope. Never use it anymore. When my computer crashed back in summer, I lost ICQ. For ages I didn't bother to download it again, but then I decided to, coz I'd lost contact with some of the people on my list. Anyway, I downloaded it again, but scrubbed it after about a week. I don't like using it at all, it's so inconvenient and...yeah, I just prefer MSN!

I like icq better for a couple of reasons - the fact that it keeps the history automatically, the fact that you can go on invisibly (on msn you have to go on full visibility, and then change), and that you can actually talk to people when you're on invisible. I also like being able to send messages to people who are offline, when it's something that doesn't require an email.

Having said that, I rarely use it anymore, only because there is nobody on there who I talk to anymore.

What I hate about msn is that it automatically loads up when I load outlook. I've tryied to change this over and over again, but nothing works. Sometimes I don't want to talk to people. Other times I'm not actually at the computer and I come back looking like I've ignored people.

Never use it anymore. ICQ seems so passe.

Not to mention, it uses too much memory and takes up too much space on the hard drive. If Jennifer didn't still use it on the odd occasion, I'd just delete it from my laptop completely.

I have all the other IM'ing devices-- MSN, AOLIM, Yahoo's instant messenger-- and I prefer to use those instead.

Cheers,
William

MSN is a **** truck of a program that never ****es off. Even when you delete it from the system tray it still leaves its feaces lying around as different tasks. Death to msn!
