One of the ones I wanted to see stand up and he has done well in the first game, now just needs to back it up over the next 21 weeks, not 3-4 like what usually happens with our kids coming through, and we'll be set.

Don't know why? Try because he was rubbish last year. Completely disinterested, lacked intensity and effort, fully deserved to end up in the Coburg reserves by the end of the season.

So was Johnson and Pettifer, but they played every week.

If Hughes was given the same trust and perseverence we've given Tambling, he'd be a star by now.

As a big fan of Cleve I was stoked that he played last night and even more happy with his performance. Seemed to be doing all the little nitty gritty things as well as leading up etc. Far from a great game but seemed to be working really hard Good stuff Steamer
