then its an absolute ____ing joke of monumental proportions. To lose liek we did and only effectively drop one player, is laughable.

If true, there is absolulely no better evidence that wallace cannot coach.

Polak, Johnson, Tuck, Hyde have no place in our team if we hope to ever go anywhere (ditto tivendale but he was dropped, and Mcmahon i think has gotta be on thin ice)

Polak has been named at CHB, not on the bench

Riewoldt the only likely inclusions, where is titch edwards?
 
i seriously hope this is a joke or someone stirring on the main board, because if that is our team, i might just tear up my membership. To play like we did and only drop one player, that has the stench of a team with no vision or passion and that stems from a coach who either doesnt care or isnt up to it.

If this is true, this club is taking it too far. I'm almost at the point where I hope the club makes ridiculous decisions so everyone just laughs at them and they realise what a pathetic joke they are being. Hyde can't come straight back in, that is a joke. If this is true, then Terry can ____ off. I'm sick of his shit, 'oh after that performance, a lot of players, and possibly senior players, will lose their place'. Yes Terry, Tivendale. Tivendale! Of course Tivendale was going to get dropped, who the ____ else are you going to take out. I don't necessarily have a problem with only 2 outs after losing by 40 points to last years preliminary finalists, but just the shit he keeps dishing out and then not following through on is starting to reallly shit me.
 
thats it, i am tearing it up when i get home tonight ... this is a joke. I'm not buying another membership as long as Wallace is the coach.

you read my mind (my sad, frustrated, very angry, despairing and rapidly becoming disinterested mind)
 
All of our young players who should be playing are fighting it out on the bench. Especially McGuane, Riewoldt, Edwards, Connors, and Morton should not be named on the bench. At least 5 or 6 of the 7 on the bench should be playing, ahead of definitely Hyde, possibly Tuck, and Polak and maybe Bowden need a kick up the arse.

:)And seriously....I know people's thoughts on the guy - they are well documented...but does anyone actually think Tivendale's game v the Pies was worse than Bowden, Brown, Polak, Tuck, Tambling, White, Morton and others!!!
I know most don't like him and it is time for him to be moved on, but if your coach makes waves about dropping non-performers, there was seriously 10 worse than he!
Our selection is a "laughing stock".
 
Does anyone else feel like they just sat down... tucked the yellow & black napkin in... then gagged and spat out the crap as we were served up the same old tripe as always?

Lets all wait and see the the selected 22 side this time tomorrow, but I'm perplexed by Hyde being ahead of Morton on the HFF.

Interesting roll of the dice by the selection committee.
They could have brought in a heap of the kids and had a ready made excuse had we been flogged come Sunday.
Instead they've pretty much decided to stand firm and take their chances. Good on them for not panicking, but god help Tez if we get badly pantsed on the weekend. Cue blowtorch...

I reckon there were two parts to the Collingwood game. The first part was the first quarter and up to about the 20 minute mark of the second quarter, when we barely put up a wimper, then the second part from the 20 minute mark on, when we played with a lot more conviction and if our ground and goal kicking was better could have outscored Collingwood by 4 or 5 goals in that period, instead of the 1 or 2 we outscored them by. Once we decided to at least make a contest, hitting a target was the thing we kept stuffing up. Tivs and MacMahon were two that were at least hitting targets from 40 metres. But its times like the first half when Tiv is a liability, because he isn't going to be the one to drag us out of the mire. Hyde is much the same, as is Howatt. Looking at selections for the first 4 rounds, I suspect what the match committee is up to is rotating these three (Tiv, Hyde, Howatt) around to see which one is worth perservering with. I think we can take one of these three into the side as they can each be an assett in their own way when the side is playing well,as long as we don't go back to having two or three of them in the side at once.

I couldn't of said it better myself.... you know what I'm sick of is jokers saying they are going to rip up memberships after the 3rd rd in the season after we have come off playing 2 teams in the top 4 last year after we finished last!!! Yes maybe some players should be dropped but maybe terry has said to some of these players, "I'm going to play you for the next 3 weeks, show me something" instead of bringing them in and out. Maybe he has, maybe he hasn't I don't know and I can be sure all of you don't either. WE ARE 3 FRICKEN RD'S IN! WE ARE COMING OFF BOTTOM! LET THE SEASON GET STARTED A LITTLE BEFORE YOU ALL GO OFF THE HANDLE!!! geez now i need a drink!
