Seen a few adverts for this on TV, I was just wondering if anyone on here knows a bit about it, or actually have it themselves?

Being on a shit Bigpond Cable plan now, I get 25gb usage a month for around 90 bucks. Looking into BoB, they have a plan that is 30gb peak/30 gb off-peak on adsl2 speeds, for only 10 bucks more a month.

Can anyone give me a bit more info about it, what are the speeds like, coverage etc etc.

Not sure about BoB....but I'm with iinet for my net.

Naked adsl2 30gig on 3gig off peak (note offpeak starts at 2am, not midnight)

Speeds are fantastic, I usually average around 1.5 MB per second actual download speed.

Never down either.....best company I've been with. A little more expensive than TPG but there is never any dropouts like TPG have.

Can't remember the last time I had a dropout. Might be the Altzheimers, but might not be either!

You may be one of the lucky ones. TPG is notorious for dropouts in certain suburbs.....

They may have fixed the issue but it was quite frequent

I've lived in two suburbs / exchanges now without anything I would consider abnormal downtime.

Had Bigpond cable which went down for hours at the time. aaNet and TPG are very rarely down from my experience, and if they are it is brief.

Perhaps they've improved....but they were unreliable in certain suburbs last year.

I wouldn't even start on bigpond, I had a uni friend who worked there part time whilst studying. There was one suburb in Sydney that would be down around 40-50% of the time and they never did anything about it
