Another one gone. Forgetting his personal life, made a great contribution to music. Let's not forget he was performing in the late 40's, and it was his band that played on Jackie Brenston's famous "Rocket 88".

Some of those early 60's tracks with Tina were brilliant, before the more formula pop.
