Imagine if Doyle plays an absolute blinder of a game.
Dominates the ruck, and kicks 6 goals from full forward.

How nervous would the rest of the year be if we begin relying on him!

AHAHAHA!!! i agree with you nat. I'm just worried he'll pull up with another injury, even before the game. He might even injure himself walking into the banner... =[[ poor doyle. But he's been playing well and injury free in the reserves, so he might end up unscathed! =]

My favourite baseball team, has an young Australian outfielder who has had a history of injuries along the lines of Stephen Doyle, called Chris Snelling. So bad was this run of injuries that the Seattle Mariners fans even when to the length of using his middle name in place of his surname when talking about him as not to jinx even further. So this season upon his return from his latest injury he went to AAA to to his rehab games and finally proved himself worthy of a call up to the Major League side.

Guess what happens??? Yep, he reports to the M's MLB side and before even playing a game an injury is found and he is placed on the 15 day DL list and the cycle for him begins again.

Oh his middle name - Doyle:eek:

I'm a little worried, too. Probably why this thread made me grin. Call it a 'coping mechanism'. :o

But there is a flipside here. The potential upside for the Swans of a fit and firing Doyle with only 4 rounds plus finals for him to survive is profound.

Jolly has found his groove and is starting to make serious waves in the rucking ranks this year. We know he can go one out against a similar 'one recognised ruckman' structure. But when he hits Adel with Biglands and the Doc, or reaquaints himself with WC with both Seaby and Cox up and running he will need help. That's all there is to it.

Today's game we meet Jamar and White, which will be a fair comaprison with what the better teams in the 8 (of which Melb with a full list are clearly one) will be throwing at us.

Go Doyley! Get through that banner big fellar!! :thumbsu:

He'll get injured walking to the bench, just you wait and see.

Doyley never disappoints! :D

a bit of the old 'psychoanalysis in reverse' never hurts...

Hail to the Doyle!

He survived running through the banner! and survived walking to the bench!

What's his foresights for next week game? if he is chosen to play.
