How long will it take before the Mavs implode?

For me, the acquisition of Walker and Jamison have made the Mavs worse this season.

Nash should lead the league in assists, but how the hell can he satisfy four 20ppg scorers?

It's only a matter of time before it all goes haywire.

Walker has been a revelation, and Dirk is Dirk. As soon as the guards get in sync, they will be scary.

Walker in particular has found his place well, and Jamison also looks like he can find minutes off the bench.

The problem - Fortson's influence has been minimal; the Mavs have little interior D.

Maybe they should send some of those 'human shields' over from Afghanistan, or would they sidestep also as D-FISH drives to the hoop?

Mavs lack pure athletes to help guard the perimeter.....they are a front running team that loves to run and gun..unfortunately good D wins titles and the mavs dont know the meaning of the word...

Watch how long it takes Walker to start whinging about how he is not able to get his customery 85 shots per game off like he could at the celtics.

They will need him...having athletes isnt the be all and end all...my team the bulls have a ****load of them and they struggle...although im a big wrap for Jamal Crawford and Tyson Chandler and hopefully they can improve and get the bulls outa the lottery

Damn right Bresh. I heard huge things about the kid leading up to the draft, especially as a Wake Forest kid. I was livid when the Spurs passed him up at pick 28 for him to fall to pick 29. He is the exact player I would have liked at SA - athletic, good size, good handles.

He'll be big in this league. If not with Dallas, but somewhere.
