I'm looking forward to it. Seems a decent concept, will help grow motorsport in India and give Indian drivers some exposure. Also gives us something to follow in the off season. I'm wrapt to see Fisichella racing again.

I'm looking forward to it.
Why? It's just another load of rubbish.
Seems a decent concept
Disagree.
will help grow motorsport in India and give Indian drivers some exposure.
Just because it's all of a sudden become fashionale to like motorsport in India, I don't think it should be encouraged. Also, Indian drivers some exposure? No, exposure is not what Indian "drivers" need!

NZ domestic motorsport has always ran during the southern summer. You weren't aware of that? In fact, I'm surprised the NZV8 Touring cars aren't shown here, even if it was on delay. As for Fisichella, he hasn't left the seat. He's been racing a GT Ferrari in Europe.

Because I'm looking forward to seeing guys like Villeneuve, Frentzen, Alesi and Fisi again, as well as decent drivers in Chandhok, Liuzzi and Salo all in the same car. Plus races at Sepang, Buddh and Qatar are never a bad thing.

Disagree.
Okay.

You don't think it should be encouraged? It's a huge country, the potential for finding some brilliant drivers there is massive. How is that a bad thing?

NZ domestic motorsport? Pass.

Seems like you've got some pre built up prejudice, whether it's because of the IPL or something I'm not sure.

I suppose I can understand this pov.

No. I can respect India as a developing economy, which may be overdue, especially since, it seems, they've been taken advantage of by many European and Western countries over hundreds of years. However, their interest in motorsport is not as a result of a genuine passion for it, like it is with cricket and hockey, but more of a reflection of their own self-importance, economically and politically. "Look at us everybody, we host a GP, have an Indian F1 team and some drivers". F1 World Championship's been around since 1950, where were they before whatshisname bought the Jordan F1 team? It's a bad thing because their presence adds nothing to F1/motorsport, whereas they get a lot out of motorsport

NZ domestic motorsport? Pass.
NZ motorsport is OK but, like everything else from NZ, it is small. The V8 Touring car series is OK (except fo reverse grids) and it would be good if it were shown here (at least on Speedweek). Where are you going knocking NZ motorsport? NZ motorsport has added a lot to the Australian scene. Who has some prejudice?
