You're entitled to your opinion, so I won't post back and forth trying to change your perspective. But I will say that I don't like monograms for logos, at all. They're fine for one-offs and official documents etc etc. But not logos, for mine.

No worries at all, and that's fair enough - each to their own. Are you happy with our current logo/branding? If not, is there anything in particular you would like to see?

I'm not thrilled by the choice of logo, but I'm firmly of the belief that once you've decided on something, backflipping is a sign of doubt. Doubt is the last thing you need when you're deciding on a brand position. We've decided that we're doing an Americanised "raven", so that's what it will be for the time being.

I would have preferred something like a winged crow, rather than a head. And something a bit more navy as opposed to blue. Minor things, really. At the end of the day though, the only thing that matters is consistency.

When the Charlotte Hornets re-branded recently they released a bunch of different logos to be used for merchandising, simple graphics for tv, having a new modernized logo but also creating another modernized version of the old popular Hugo the Hornet logo etc
IMO I don't see why we couldn't do a similar thing so then we can incorporate the different aspects like a monogram, an Americanized logo (if they really want to stick with that).

The Hornets re-branding was perfect. He're the logo pyramid:

Maybe I'm just a sucker for those colour schemes, but I love their new logo. Love love.

Like I said, their re-branding is perfect, and I have no doubt their uniforms will be a classy modernized version of the old jerseys (which were also perfect).
