Beg to differ, it's a moderate concern given his history of injuries in recent years.Clarry missed 80% of the 2024 pre season and rocked up to round 1 off the street with a near BOG performance against the Dogs.
Nothing to be concerned about in the absolute slightest. In fact if there was a number below 0, that should be the concern level.
All those injuries except for Greene and Oliver were from last year.Stringer, Hogan, Oliver, Greene, Daniels all injured. Kelly and Jones out for first half of the season at least.
This is before any real contact stuff.
Stringer in particular… his body is cooked.
Rowston is a decent like for like switch. Cogs, if truly fit, can play the role too.FMD. When they suspect such an injury it's basically a sure thing.
The positive is that we still have Clarry and opens the door for others to step up.
That’s terrible news about Tom Green if it is an ACL. He’s a terrific player and the game needs every teams’ stars on the field playing.Rowston is a decent like for like switch. Cogs, if truly fit, can play the role too.
Premiership teams have covered for the loss of star players in the pre-season.Honestly we get such pathetic luck with injuries, always have. I can’t even remember the last time we managed to play a game with out best 22, it’s so hard to gain momentum when your fielding 2nd grade players.
Season over
With the 5 man bench surely we can run Rowston/leake or a similar pairing to cover greenAs bad as it is, it gives a real chance to Rowston to play his best position… as a contest and clearance mid. There is also a feeling Jack Ough is going very well.

Rowston will get to play the position he is best in… hunting ball.
