Prefers the top-level stuff. Has difficulty rising to much of an effort at lower grades. Don't recall Warney ripping it much at Shield - not that he was ever available too much of course.

I agree some players are like that. They just love the roar of the crowd and the chance to strut their stuff in front of as many people as possible etc, etc.

Which is why I hate seeing kids being cut from lists, without even giving them one game at senior level. Unless they are crocked by injury of course, but you just never know how a kid will respond to the challenge unless you actually give them a go:thumbsu:

Our team is very much a different entity now to when he won the B&F!
I have watched the skills of Carrots ever since he was a youth. This year/last year...my point was others have gone past him. Not saying he is not a good player but we now have better. Thus he does not get a game.
Blunt but true.

He achieved the 4th in the B&F last season. How can you make your expert claims. You have told us what you base them on, your observations, what of the observations of the MC that vote for the JNM? Are you a more astute judge than them, Is that your contention? You have watched others go past him, when in the December training sessions? Because there has been no way to guage who went passed him since he was 4th (and best clubman) last season.

Please enlighten me as to what special insights you have. This is sounding to me like another JR bash. Baseless, prejudgment on some perceived errors in his game that you see but the MC does not. Blunt but true.

If you think that carrazzo isn't in our best 22 then you are totally overrating our top 22 off one good performance against Richmond.
Carrazzo doesn't get enough credit for the relentless work he does on the ground. When everyone else has stopped running and gone back into their shells - he's the one who is still on the move, creating options for teammates, wrong-footing opponents, and creating opportunities. We won't always have one-way traffic like last week, and it's someone like Carrazzo who provides some resilience when the team has been set back on its heels.

Very true he's a trench warfare type of guy. His B&F finishes tells us he does the job what ever it is for the match committe and is respected.

If Grigg still needs another test to get up for this game then i wouldn't see Ratten rushing him back this week. He has to be 110%, he is important and soft tissue injuries can be a nightmare if you don't treat them right.

A good chance C23...I want to, but have been away with work this week, so have to work hard on a leave pass :o

Another bullshit, fairytale expense claiming junket no doubt.

His disposal and decision making skills
I am not laying into him with an agenda. I love Carrots however I think we now have players who are more well rounded and offer more to the team structure. I am not claiming to be an expert and I have said with Hoops am happy to admit when I am wrong. It is not a dig at Carrots but praise at the rest of the list.

Bentick is more valuable than blooming Russell who is a softie and Houla who is a flower!

The man with 2 brains... one's lost and the other is looking for it

Russell and Hoops make up our forward flanks pushing upto the wings when we dont have the ball...

You arent really making a lot of friends on here with your attitude...

I see from your posts that you do not "bag" Carrots in the way others bag him, or JR or AB or many others. However you still open yourself up to a dilemma should he be selected.

I suggest we adjourn this debate until injury is not the reason he is not in the 22. Then, when fully fit we will be able to see if the MC agree with you. He only has to be selected once for you to be wrong by the way (your only saving grace is if all other like players are injured and thats the reason Carrots is selected). Because according to your stance, others have gone past him in the off season. Once selected he has enough disposal skill and decision making ability to cut it and your assertions will then not concur with those of the MC, and as you should know, our MC are gods unto themselves that are infallible and omnipotent. I expect that when Carrots is selected again that you will pay the MC the appropriate respect. :thumbsu:
