Injury Injury Update

Well I hope this is of some value to everyone.... I usually get my weekly injury update from afl.com but Geelong is currently listed as TBC. I just checked The Age and can share the following for anyone else in the dark. All players below are listed as Test:

Blake (Hamstring)
Corey (Calf)
Ling (Hamstring)
Lonergan (Illness)
Rooke (Knee)
Taylor (AC)

Interesting re Blakey - perhaps his omission from the 2's was something other than the usual "General Soreness". Also I thought Lonners was rested but if he was sick last week it is unusual to still be under the weather unless it was something more significant.

Lonergan was definitely sick... there's an interview with Laidler on the GFC website where he says he was expecting to play VFL that day and Sando phoned him at 9.30am to let him know Lonners was too ill to play and Laidler was into the seniors.

Jeremy Laidler mentioned in the Addy on monday that he was preparing to play VFL that day but got a call at 9.30am to say he was playing seniors because Lonergan had woken up crook.
