Hey, i have a legit product key but no disk. I know it can be done because i did it 18 months ago but do you think i can remember how to do it

I remember i copied all the office files from a working machine with office 2003 installed across to the new laptop and then accessed the set up from within the copied files. There is no simple setup.exe in there but there is a way to do it.

Does anyone know how to do it?

I even looked for a office 2003 standard torrent but could not find anything that looked legit in size (mainly just update files) or quality

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

worked it out!

for those maybe wondering, you need to copy the MSOcache file from the working machine as well. copy that to the C drive of the new machine and click on it and look for a file called PRO11 (or similar maybe different number depending on the version). It has the icon of the computer screen and the disc.

Click on that and it takes you through the set up and asks you to put in the product key.
