Much better showing from the team in the second half. intensity picked up and stayed there, THAT is how we should be playing injuries or not.

Yep if every player plays with the intensity we saw for the final quarter an some of the 3rd we have enough quality out there still to match it an beat all teams in bottom 8.
Injuries are not an excuse for losing to them.

You could see injuries cost us skill wise with costly turnovers etc but it was still enough to get the win because of the pressure most applied.

Injuries make it very hard against top 8 teams because they have too much quality.
Bottom 8 teams dont have as much quality so injuries bring us down to about their level.
So as long as they play with intensity an put their bodies on the line to be first to the ball etc we have no excuses not to be able to compete.

No one else care to comment? I also thought it was interesting to read this morning that Harvs asked the players to keep the team in the finals so that Sandi can come back and make an impact at the business end of the season. Interesting motivator in that it seemed to work. Maybe every other week Harvs can hire a shady character to take a crowbar to a players knee to gear up the team?

I thought some video highlights of some of Hill's, Ibbo's, Johnson's etc earlier efforts up against Chris Mayne's first half should do the trick.

I had a tear in the eye after some of Mayne's efforts.
