Here is a couple of interesting articles regarding the Adobe Breach, and just makes you think a little bit about your privacy on the internet and how easily it can be exploited.

Trying to unhook myself from all Google services, don't want a bar of their Google+ crap that's being forced on me. Managed to unlink my Youtube account from Google+ and delete the latter but I don't think that option will be around for much longer. The only negative (?) is that I can't comment on Youtube videos since the new system was introduced, although those comment sections are generally a cesspit of uneducated slobs anyway.

It's scary to think how many accounts you may have created and then never really gone back and used. A couple of years ago I got into the habit of using throwaway emails for one-time verification stuff and it's worked really well so far.

Trying to unhook myself from all Google services,

I gotta admit to being a bit of a google fanboi, particularly in the past but that is slowly being weaned away. I think Larry Page and Sergey Brin are allright and their original ideals were great, and even though they are still major shareholders and page is CEO the company has obviously grown well beyond the reach of two guys.
