My mum was involved in one for about 1 1/2 - 2 years. He moved here at Christmas time and is from Canada. He asked her to marry her not long ago and the wedding is in 2 weeks.

There was another case of a bad internet relationship in Perth last week, woman met this guy from Melbourne, he came over & stayed with her, then she had to go to hospital for a couple of days & when she went back home he had stolen her TV, video etc & her car.![]()

PowerGirl36,
That is great to hear of one working out so well.
I am a believer that the internet is a way of meeting people, and would consider a relationship that developed as a result of meeting via the net.
What's the difference between meeting on the net as opposed to say a bar?? You're not going to marry someone straight away but I see no harm as long as you are CAREFUL.
