Interstate TV channels?

Does anyone know of the possiblity of setting up a satellite/card/something so that you can get like interstate TV channels onto your TV? i.e. abc in perth

If possible, is it illegal?

Would be good, especially with ABC2 dropping the footy. I don't know of anything that would do this though (except maybe torrents).

It can be done. Pubs in Melbourne were screening Underbelly using a satellite feed from Perth. Somewhere like dtv forums might be able to shed some more light on the subject.
