Does anyone know of anywhere that replaces iPhone screens on the spot? I dropped and cracked mine - it is just the glass covering that is damaged but everywhere I've called needs me to leave the phone with them for a few days which I'd prefer not to have to do.

A mate got his done on the spot in Golden Grove somewhere but can't remember the name of the place.

you could ask over on the port board. from what i can gather tsw works for some mob that fixes phones so he might have an idea who could do it on the run.

At the train station in town there is a bloke who does it in an hour, I gave mine to him the other day and went to a tute then came back and he'd done it, $60. It's on the left side as you walk through the tunnel under North Terrace.

Order the screen on line as an assembly. Includes glass and button.

It's about three connectors and 8 screws to do. There is also YouTube clips how to do it.

It isn't hard to do.

$60! Thats bloody good! Thought it would be way more. Im pretty paranoid about my phone, but now I know that I might start throwing it around a bit more. Cheers!
