G'day folks. I tried the search function but found nothing in regards to my question(s).
Anyway as you know I made a thread a couple of days ago asking how to get Ipod Apps (thanks to Gibbsyspin, I achieved that). Anyway tonight I was trying to jailbreak my Ipod via a youtube video. Everything was going well until I got to the last bit where according to creator of the vid, the Ipod was rebooting. Well in this vid, his Ipod took a couple of seconds, and I waited 15 minutes for mine to do what it was supposed to. So now my Ipod had frozen, I thankfully came across a another vid showing me how to restore it (which deleted everything, so I just synced my tunes and pics back) but realised I didnt get my 30 or so apps. I couldnt view my apps on my ipod via itunes, and I was wondering if there is a way to save them in a library on itunes much like the music is. (so in future this doesnt occur again)
Which brings me to my main question, can anybody help me with jailbreaking my Ipod? As the thread title suggests it's a second generation with (I believe this called the firmware) 2.2.1
Could someone please provide me with an easy to understand and thorough explanation?
Any help is much appreciated.

Exit: Just upgraded to 3.1.3, and I have now been able to view my apps via itunes, thus answering my minor question.
